Any personal information received from you, in order to research your tree and exchange documentation, is not sold to a third party. The information you provide is only shared between you and I! Your family tree tree is not for public viewing and will remain private.

Now, for the No Responsible Disclaimer, I as owner of Ancestral Treasures, am not responsible for errors. I pride myself on fact checking family tree information as best as I can. After all, I am focused on accuracy! However, I am only human, therefore, I call it as I research it, and try as I might, sometimes information comes to light that may cause my findings in need of alterations. I can only assure you that I take my time and fact check to the best of my ability.

Finally, as I mentioned in my Welcome to Ancestral Treasures Web page – ancestry is NOT for the faint of heart! Some of your family tree discoveries may uncover less than appealing outcomes. Generally, unfavorable realities are not disclosed in families, at least not by the family. Research may lead to discovering things that you have never heard, seen, or thought possible. I, as owner of Ancestral Treasures, do not take any responsibility for any offensive findings regarding your family. As for my own family tree, I have found out things that aren’t quite so pleasant – a counterfeiter relative, a philanderer, and who my biological great granddads were – actually finding who they were when long ago it was hidden.
