I love to research my family tree, as well as the family trees of others. Researching history is a Treasure Hunt for me. Now, the first step is up to you – deciding which side of your family tree you prefer to begin researching. Perhaps you know more about one parent’s information and little or nothing about the other? Simply select which side to start with, then we can always work on the other side at a later point, if you so desire.

In order to give your family tree research a solid start, it would be desirable for you to provide me with as much information that you do know, or have been told. The basic details are important and anything relatable helps to confirm the selection of which paths I explore – can they be definitely ruled out verses the ones to follow. Below are some details needed to began our research:

• Your full name, date of birth, and place of birth.
• Your Parent’s full name, date of birth, place of birth and/or places lived, Spouse/Partner information.
• Any additional information concerning other relatives – Cousins, Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, enables our research into your family tree to start off on a solid foundation and expand into nothing short of an Amazing adventure!

Using my resources and attention to detail, I will focus on gathering information to fill in as much of your family tree as I can find. As you can imagine, hours are spent in researching, particularly, when the researcher places emphasis on accuracy and treasured tidbits – photographs/portraits, newspaper articles, books written, documents. This is EXACTLY what you can expect from Ancestral Treasures!
