A Little About Me
My name is Rebecca Armstrong, and I am a Kentucky born and bred ancestry researcher with 15+ years of research experience. Growing up, my close family would share photos and some stories – just enough to pique my curiosity. Intrigued, I wanted to know more…how did they live? Who did I get my green eyes from? What characteristics do we share? Were they leaders? Heroes? Were they highly regarded? Did they lean towards a reckless nature? Were they wealthy landowners? Royalty? Where did they originate from and how did they make it to the U.S.? Simply put, I desired to get answers. Unfortunately, my parents didn’t share this strong desire. For the longest time, I couldn’t fathom why. As I progressed in my research, I came to understand that Ancestry is NOT for the faint of heart, I cannot stress that enough! You have to be willing to accept the good, AND, the not so good. After all, we wouldn’t be here if some of these things had not occurred!
